GOOD TO KNOW.
What's included in the $300 Comprehensive Hair Evaluation?
Your evaluation includes a comprehensive review of your health history and hair concerns, targeted laboratory testing, a virtual consultation to review your results, and individualized treatment recommendations. Prescription therapies, follow-up care, and any additional testing are priced separately.
Are labs required?
Yes. Your comprehensive hair evaluation includes a targeted laboratory panel consisting of CBC, CMP, ferritin, iron/TIBC, TSH, free T4, vitamin D, vitamin B12, and folate. If you have recent laboratory results from within the last 3 months, you may upload them to your patient portal for review. Additional testing, if clinically indicated, may involve separate charges.
What is GHK-Cu?
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding peptide being studied for its potential role in skin and hair follicle health. It is available as a topical formulation, offering a needle-free approach to peptide-based scalp care. While early research is of interest, clinical evidence supporting hair regrowth in humans remains limited, and GHK-Cu is not FDA-approved for hair loss.
Is GHK-Cu included in the evaluation fee?
No. The $300 fee covers your comprehensive hair evaluation, including laboratory testing and personalized recommendations. GHK-Cu is one potential treatment option that may be considered following your evaluation. If clinically appropriate, your provider will discuss treatment options, pricing, and next steps before you decide whether to proceed.
Who is a candidate for GHK-Cu therapy?
Candidacy is determined individually based on your medical history, hair-loss pattern, medications, laboratory results, and treatment goals. GHK-Cu is not FDA-approved for hair loss, and completing an evaluation does not guarantee that a prescription will be recommended.
How long does it take to see improvements in hair health?
Hair changes occur gradually, and timelines depend on the underlying cause and treatment selected. With established hair-loss therapies, visible improvements may take several months. There is currently insufficient clinical evidence to establish a reliable timeline for hair regrowth with GHK-Cu. Your provider will discuss realistic expectations and how to monitor your progress.
What if my hair loss requires additional treatment?
Hair loss can have multiple underlying causes. If your evaluation identifies nutritional deficiencies, hormonal concerns, or other contributing factors, your provider may recommend additional testing or alternative or complementary treatments. These recommendations are personalized to your needs, and any associated costs will be discussed before proceeding.
