Are laboratory tests required before starting treatment?
Yes. Baseline laboratory testing is required for this treatment
pathway. If you have laboratory results from within the past
3 months, you may upload them to your patient portal for review.
Qualifying results must include a CBC, CMP, Hemoglobin A1C,
and lipid panel.
Patients requiring new laboratory testing will select the
$275 clinical care option, which includes baseline labs.
Patients with qualifying existing laboratory results may
select the $225 clinical care option.
If your submitted results are incomplete or insufficient
for treatment, additional testing may be required and
additional laboratory charges will apply.
What's included in my initial clinical care fee?
Your initial clinical care fee includes an NP consultation,
baseline laboratory testing or review of qualifying existing
results, a personalized treatment plan, and 90 days of
clinical management.
During this period, your provider will monitor your progress,
assess treatment response, make clinically appropriate
adjustments, and provide care-related communication through
your patient portal.
Medication is purchased separately and is not included
in the clinical care fee.
Are medications included in the clinical care price?
No. Medication packages are priced separately from your
clinical care.
Your clinical care fee covers your initial consultation,
laboratory assessment, personalized treatment planning,
and 90 days of clinical management.
If medication is prescribed, the cost will depend on the
selected treatment, formulation, and prescribed dose.
All prescriptions are subject to clinical approval
and pharmacy availability.
What happens after my initial 90 days of care?
Your initial clinical care fee includes 90 days of
provider-guided management.
If you would like to continue treatment beyond this period,
you may enroll in continued care for $200 per additional
90-day period.
Continued care includes an NP follow-up assessment,
review of your treatment response, ongoing clinical
management, medication adjustments when appropriate,
patient portal communication, and routine follow-up
laboratory testing when clinically indicated.
If additional or more extensive laboratory testing is
medically necessary beyond what is included in your
continued-care plan, any associated charges will be
communicated and invoiced separately.
Medication costs remain separate. Continued treatment
and prescription renewals are subject to ongoing
clinical appropriateness.
Will I need an appointment for medication refills?
Medication refills are managed through your patient portal
during your active clinical care period.
Your provider may request updated information, a follow-up
consultation, or additional laboratory testing when needed
to ensure treatment remains appropriate.
Refills are not automatic and are issued only when
clinically indicated.
Medication purchases and pharmacy charges are separate
from your clinical care fee.
Who is a candidate for metabolic treatment?
Treatment eligibility is determined individually after
reviewing your medical history, current medications,
health goals, laboratory results, and any potential
contraindications.
Your provider will recommend treatment options based
on your individual clinical needs.
Completing a clinical consultation or purchasing a
clinical care package does not guarantee that medication
will be prescribed.
How are medications prescribed and shipped?
If medication is determined to be medically appropriate,
your provider will send your prescription to the
dispensing pharmacy.
Medication is shipped directly to you according to
the pharmacy's fulfillment process, shipping policies,
and availability.
Delivery timelines may vary depending on the prescribed
medication and pharmacy.
